Monday: Tai Chi Club

Day and time: 2pm every Monday (may be cancelled in extreme heat or wet)

Location: Picnic Shelter, Birrarung Park, Templestowe Road, Lower Templestowe

Cost: $9.00 per session if you buy a ten-pack or $10.00 per class cash on the day.

Class structure:

  • Quiet meditative breathing including assorted qigong forms

  • Balanced warm up of all major joints and muscle groups

  • Flow through of Tai Chi 24-Form

  • Revision of Tai Chi 42-Form

  • New in 2026: Teaching of the 8 Powers Taiji & Qigong forms I learnt in China.

  • Drills and skills repetitions to emphasise techniques 

  • Demonstration of some of the self defence techniques hidden in the form

  • 60-75 minute sessions to allow plenty of time for breaks, questions and chatting

Wednesday: Sword Club

Day and time: 10am every Wed (may be cancelled in extreme heat or wet)

Location: Stringybark Picnic Area, Westerfolds Park, Fitzsimons Lane, Templestowe.

Cost: $9.00 per session if you buy a ten-pack or $10.00 per class cash on the day.

Class structure:

  • Quiet meditative breathing

  • Balanced warm up of all major joints and muscle groups

  • Flow through of Tai Chi 24-Form and Tai Chi 42-Form

  • Sword drills and skills repetitions to emphasise techniques 

  • Flow through of Tai Chi Sword 32-Form

  • New in 2025 and continuing through 2026: Teaching of Tai Chi Sword 42-Form

  • 75-80 minute sessions to allow plenty of time for breaks, questions and chatting

Sunday: Wattle Park Tai Chi and Qigong

Day and time: 9.30am–10.30am Sundays (may be cancelled in extreme heat or wet).

Location: Wattle Park, Riversdale Road, Surrey Hills (please email for the precise location within the park).

Cost: $9.00 per session if you buy a ten-pack or $10.00 per class cash on the day.
